The “Calcium” package contains 100% eggshell powder. Eggshells are washed, heat-treated, dried, and ground into a fine powder. The snail’s daily diet must not lack the basic building block of a beautiful and healthy shell. A natural source of perfectly digestible calcium is eggshell powder. Calcium in the form of 98% calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is the basic ingredient of eggshells of hens.

Eggshell powder should be given to the pet at each feeding, just lightly sprinkle some on the food. Note: chicken eggshells can only be fed to snails in the form of finely ground powder.

You can always diversify the forms of calcium fed and additionally offer your pet sepia – cuttlefish bone.

We recommend supplements that are able to meet the needs in valuable nutrients of even the most demanding species: “Protein & Vitamin”, Exotic herbal mix, ground gammarus. It is recommended that the supplements be used alternately, so that your pet’s diet remains varied and complete.
