They have weak jaws that are adapted for grinding plant matter. Isopods prefer moist places, live in the top layer of the substrate and feed on leaves, a multi-component substrate designed for crocodiles, and vegetables and fruits.

🌿 Everything such an animal needs for successful development and life in a terrarium is:

* Substrate/food: Crocodile and viper culture medium or coconut substrate;

* Food: Fresh vegetables and fruits;

* Food: Sepia – cuttlefish bone is a natural source of calcium for terrarium animals;

* Food: Ground gammarus is a dried germ, rich in macro- and micronutrients, a natural source of animal protein and chitin (available on our other auction);

* Terrarium: Faunabox or breeding container is ideal for breeding isopods;

* Do not allow the substrate to become fully dry, sprinkle the terrarium once in a while.
