- The personal data controller ensures that data is collected, processed, and used in accordance with personal data protection laws applicable to the country where the data is collected.
- The Controller may use profiling in the Internet Service for direct marketing purposes, but decisions made on this basis by the Controller do not concern concluding or refusing to conclude a Service Agreement or the possibility of using Electronic Services in the Internet Service. The result of using profiling in the Internet Service may be, for example, granting a discount to a given person, sending them a discount code, reminding about unfinished purchases, sending a Service proposal that may correspond to the interests or preferences of a given person, or proposing better conditions compared to the standard offer of the Internet Service. Despite profiling, the given person freely decides whether they want to use the discount received in this way or better conditions and make a purchase in the Internet Service.
- Profiling in the Internet Service consists of automatic analysis or prediction of a given person’s behavior on the Internet Service website, e.g., by adding a specific Service to the cart, browsing the page of a specific Service in the Internet Service, or by analyzing the previous history of purchases made in the Internet Service. The condition for such profiling is that the Controller has personal data of the given person in order to subsequently send them, for example, a discount code.
