Description
Species: Archachatina marginata marginata (Swainson, 1821)
Special lineage designation: “type 2”
Offered young specimens from an unrelated parental pair. Thanks to the continuous selection of suitable partners and the creation of pairs from generation to generation, unrelated pedigree breeding lines of beautiful giants are successfully maintained.
Individuals of Archachatina marginata marginata “Type 2” are characterized by deep brown with dark brown accents in the form of numerous wrinkles. The antennae, head and the stripe running through the body take on a brownish-black hue. Combined with the almost black shell, this creates a unique color composition, highly valued among giant snail enthusiasts.
Typically, the size of the shells of the species reaches a sizable size, about 12-14 cm.
Like most species in the genus Archachatina, these snails are undemanding and thrive when provided with basic maintenance conditions.
